WESTFORD — James M. Romano, 58, of Westford died at his home on Saturday, September 7, 2019.
James was born in Medford on December 12, 1960 and was the son of the late Harry P. and Pauline C. (Ciampa) Romano.
James was raised in Medford and was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1978. He later attended Blaine Beauty School and was the owner of Headquarters Hair Salon in Burlington for 40 years. He was a resident of Westford for 24 years. He enjoyed golfing, biking, and going to the beach.
James was the beloved husband of Heather F. (Whittier) Romano. He was the loving father of Manuela E. and Manuel J. Romano both of Westford. He was the brother of Joanne Catanzano of Wakefield, Joseph Romano of Burlington, Paula Romano of Medford, and Larry Romano of Medford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield at 11 o’clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.
