NATICK — Judith A. Pettingill, 71, of Natick, formerly of Wakefield and Stoneham, died Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at the Tufts New England Medical Center.
Born in Lowell on February 15, 1948 she was the daughter of the late George and Pauline (Muse) McCauley.
A member of the well-known McCauley family, Judy was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1966. She and her late husband, were the owner and operators of the former Pettingill Printing of Melrose. She and her late husband were also active members in the Melrose Lions Club.
She was the wife of the late Steven A. Pettingill. She was the mother of Jodi A. Pettingill of Natick and the late Kenneth Pettingill. She was the sister of George, James, Phillip, Peter, Len, Susan, Gayle, and Jean McCauley, and Anne Amison, Carol Bowerman, and the late June Rose. She is also survived by Beth Therrien, mother of the late Sean Therrien; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her niece, Theresa McCauley.
Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield at 10 a.m. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
