LYNNFIELD — Due to the rising costs of printing and postage, the Friends of the Lynnfield Library and the library staff have decided to transition from paper to offering the calendar and newsletter in electronic format each month. Beginning in September, the calendar and quarterly newsletter will no longer be mailed via USPS in print.

The library will have some paper copies available at the library and at the Senior Center.  If residents have already registered, they will receive the electronic version of these two publications in their e-mail inbox each month.  A printable PDF copy is also available at www.lynnfieldlibrary.org.

If residents haven’t signed up for the e-mail version yet, go to: https://tinyurl.com/LynnfieldLibraryEmail or stop by the library and speak to one of the library’s staff members.

A savings of over $10,000 annually will be realized by going digital. These funds will be put toward new museum passes (such as the New England Aquarium available beginning Sept. 8), additional programming and more.
