OAK LAWN, Ill. — Mary P. (Costello) Forte passed away recently at age 84 on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015.
Mrs. Forte, known as “Patsy,” spent the first 74 years of her life in Wakefield and she raised her family in her childhood home. She and her family were members of St. Joseph Parish, attended St. Joseph School and graduated from Wakefield High School. She was a devoted wife, mother and daughter and she spent the majority of her life caring for her immediate and extended family. She and her husband Frank spent many years supporting the community through their involvement with the Wakefield Elks. Although she and her family moved to various parts of the country, they always considered Wakefield home. Patsy and Frank will be returning home to a celebratory Mass with their family at a future date.
Mrs. Forte was the loving mother of Patricia (James) Kinahan, Caryl (David) Vieira and Paul (Nikki) Forte. She was the cherished grandmother of Laura (Michael) McCartin, Michelle Vieira, Rachel Kinahan, Patrick Forte, Alison Vieira, Matthew, Zachary and Danielle Forte, and the dear sister of James (Nancy) Costello and the late Claire (the late William) Cottle. She was also the fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
