MELROSE — For the 33rd year, Scott Macaulay will be putting on a Thanksgiving dinner for anyone who will be alone on the holiday.

Held in the Green Street Baptist Church, 179 Green St., on Thursday, November 22, the annual affair begins at 1 p.m. There will be cheese and crackers, chips and dips, hot hor d’oeuvres and a traditional turkey dinner with all the fixings.

Dinner will be by candlelight. A DJ will provide music and those attending will sit by three fireplaces and a wood burning stove. There will be coaches, oriental rugs and other decorations to make you feel right at home.

If you need a place to go for a free Thanksgiving dinner, reserve a spot with Scott by calling 781-662-7235.
