DURING A BEAUTIFUL Sunday afternoon, May 2, recreationalists took to the Lynn Fells Parkway between Melrose Street and Tremont Street to enjoy themselves free of cars and trucks. The block was off-limits to motor vehicles for a couple of hours so people could walk, ride and play. This was called Melrose Free Street, and you may be seeing more of them in the near future.
