NORTH READING — The L.D. Batchelder School will celebrate 100 years of excellence serving the students of North Reading with an Open House on Saturday, Sept. 23.

The public is invited to join past and present students, faculty and staff members during the Open House from from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The event will include opening remarks, distinguished speakers, student performances, and guided tours through the remarkable facility that educates over 450 students each year in North Reading, including connections to the original 1917 building.

“Please take a little time to celebrate a building that has provided so much for so many. We are so excited to share and celebrate with the community,” stated Batchelder School Principal Sean Killeen.

Light refreshments will be served.
