NORTH READING — The North Reading Community Coffeehouse will present its November Showcase on Saturday, November 23 at 6:30 p.m. The performers are Dolores Bourque, Ric Page and Tom Sullivan of the “Side by Each” band, Uri Bourque, Don Gibbs, Torin Nickerson and Maureen Pilot. Each performer will do about a 30-minute set.

“We have a wide variety of music this month which will make for a very entertaining show.  As an aside, one of the things the North Reading Community Coffeehouse has been trying to do for awhile is to get younger performers and we will finally be able to do that as Uri and Torin are both 17-year-old high school students and very talented musicians,” noted NRCC founder Art Grossman.  “Torin recently released his debut album, ‘Seven O’clock Sessions.’ It features six original songs, including ‘Nowhere Else to Go,’ a song originally released as a single July 28, 2023.”

The event is free but donations will be gratefully accepted and refreshments will be offered with all the proceeds benefitting the Friends of the Flint Memorial Library. Located in the Activity Room of the library at 147 Park St., the event will also be livestreamed on the NRCC Facebook page and available on YouTube the following day.
