NORTH READING – After a two-year hiatus the town wide Easter Sunrise Service is making a resurrection of its own and the entire community is invited to gather on the Town Common at 6 a.m. on Sunday, April 17 to celebrate the miracle of the empty tomb.

The service will be hosted by Christian Community Service and will be led by the clergy from the town’s churches.

The service will include prayers and joyful song. This year, Rev. Agustin Anda from St. Theresa’s will offer the Easter message. In the event of rain the service will be held in the sanctuary at the Union Congregational Church, 148 Haverhill Street.
