NORTH READING — A curbside collection of yard waste, including grass clippings, leaves, and small branches, will take place on Saturday, Nov 23, and again on Saturday, Dec. 7. Waste must be curbside by 6:30 a.m. and in paper bags only. No plastic bags or barrels of loose yard waste will be accepted. Branches must be no greater than three inches in diameter and cut to lengths of three feet or less. Branches must be bundled and tied (not bagged).
YARD WASTE DROP OFF
The Richard F. Spindler DPW Garage, 166 Chestnut St., is open to allow residents to drop off yard waste on Saturdays from April 1 to Nov. 30 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. There are two separate piles; one for grass clippings and leaves and the other for brush; please deposit yard waste in the appropriate pile.
WASTE OIL RECYCLING
Residents may drop off waste oil at the DPW Garage on the last Saturday of every month from April to November from 8 a.m. to noon.
