NORTH READING – Over 30 students ranging in age from 10 to 71 Cervizzi’s Martial Arts Academy located in North Reading, Lynnfield, North Andover and Andover came together at their North Reading headquarters and underwent a challenging 5 1/2 hour black belt exam last month.

Among them were nine students from the North Reading school, including one adult and children ranging in age from 10 to 16. Five of the children earned their Junior 1st degree black belts including Samara Lee, Cailin McGaffigan, Jessica McArdle and Jason Hawley.

Two children earned their Junior 2nd degree black belts (Joshua Dhimitri and Mia Ledoux), one earned his Adult 1st degree black belt (Prasiddh Pandya) and the lone adult (Master Anthony Scoppa) earned his 6th degree black belt.

Soke Paul Cervizzi, the founder of Cervizzi’s Martial Arts Academy the schools, and several of his senior black belt instructors conducted the exam.
