NORTH READING — These are important dates to remember for high school student athletes planning to play football this season.

• Monday, Aug. 15, Tuesday, Aug. 16

Paper work for all athletes interested in playing football should be completed by this day. The paperwork can be found on the FamilyID website on the North Reading High School’s home page. Athletes will not be allowed to get equipment or attend practices unless they have completed the signup process on FamilyID and have an updated physical.

Athletes that are registered by the dates listed above can come to the high school between 9–11 a.m. to get fitted for helmets and pick up their equipment on Monday, Aug. 15 or Tuesday, Aug. 16. Athletes must be registered before being issued equipment. Athletes only need to attend one of those two dates. If an athlete cannot attend one of those dates they will receive equipment on Friday, Aug. 19 at 8:30 prior to the first practice.
