THE St. Joseph School “Hawks” basketball players enjoyed a terrific season playing in the Middlesex Catholic Elementary Schools League. Forty-nine students in grades five though eight participated in the school’s basketball program this year. The mission of the St. Joseph School basketball program is to foster character development through the participation in team athletic competition. The primary focus of this program is to teach all participants the basic skills of basketball, as well as teamwork with an emphasis on sportsmanship and the promotion of Christian values.
