WAKEFIELD – She’s done it again.

For the second year in a row, the Patriots are in the Super Bowl and for the second straight year local businesswoman and Patriots super fan Danielle Resha has scored free tickets to the big game. She’ll be in the stands in Minneapolis on Sunday, Feb. 4 when Tom Brady and the New England Patriots take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII.

This year’s tickets come courtesy of the Bose Corporation, who also sent a video crew to Wakefield to film a promo featuring Resha and her dog, Brady Omelett.

Last year, Resha got to go to Houston to witness in person the Patriot’s unbelievable Super Bowl comeback against the Atlanta Falcons. The 2011 Wakefield Memorial High School graduate and owner of CrossFit 128 on Salem Street entered and won last year’s “Live ULTRA Pull-Up Challenge” sponsored by Michelob Ultra in Boston.

In 2017, Men and women in the Boston and Atlanta areas were invited to visit the designated gym location in their city and showcase their physical fitness by completing as many pull-ups as possible in 95 seconds – the same number of calories found in a Michelob ULTRA. The male and female in each market who completed the most pull-ups won a VIP trip to Houston for Super Bowl LI. Resha’s VIP trip included round trip airfare to Houston, accommodations and tickets to last year’s Super Bowl.

This year, it happened a little differently, but she’ll be there at the Super Bowl for the second year in a row. This time, it will be courtesy of Bose, the Framingham-based corporation that designs, develops and sells audio equipment. (Bose also gave her tickets to Gillette Stadium for last Sunday’s Patriots playoff victory over Jacksonville.)

Resha’s social media accounts are like online shrines to the New England Patriots. Bose took notice.

“They just found me on Instagram and made a video for being a Pats fan,” Resha says. “They filmed them for the top four teams and then the top two got tickets to the Super Bowl. They’re going to be putting the video on the Jumbotron at the game.”

In the one-minute video narrated by Resha, she and her dog are seen leaving home and walking to her gym on Salem Street.

She introduces herself and her dog as “Patriots super fans.”

She says in the video that her dog “loves to watch the Patriots” as she shows that the dog’s nails are painted in Patriots colors.

“I grew up in Wakefield,” she explains in the video. “I still live there. It’s a pretty small town but it’s got a pretty good community feel.”

She explains that she grew up watching and going to Patriots games with her father and step-father, both of whom are also huge Patriots fans.

“My favorite piece of memorabilia from the team is definitely my Super Bowl ticket,” she says in the video as she displays a picture of last year’s ticket on her phone. “I felt like I was holding my first child.”

She talks about how she opened her business.

“Back in 2014, I decided to open my gym here in Wakefield,” she says, as she and others are seen working out in the gym.

“When the Patriots won Super bowl LI it was the craziest feeling ever,” she says as the video comes to a close. “I was hysterically crying. They’re the best team ever.”
