WAKEFIELD — Educators invite the public to a State of the Schools presentation and Parent/Community Budget Forum on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 7 p.m. in the Galvin Middle School’s Veterans Memorial Auditorium.

Supt. of Schools Doug Lyons and Business Administrator Michael Pfifferling sent an invitation out to parents Wednesday.

The event will be an opportunity to hear about all that is happening in the Wakefield Public Schools and the emerging budget priorities for the 2019-2020 school-year.

“Following a short presentation, audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions and weigh in on their priorities. The feedback of staff and parents is very important to the budget process,” the invitation states.

Accompanying the invitation to the State of the Schools and Parent/Community Forum is a fiscal year 2020 Budget Priority Survey that people are asked to fill out.
