WAKEFIELD — Scott J. Mulcahy, 51 of Wakefield passed away Sunday, March 20.
He was born in New London, Conn. on Sept. 14, 1964 and was the son Cornelius R. Mulcahy and Joan (Schott) Mulcahy of Englewood, N.J.
Scott was a graduate of Rockland County High School, Class of 1983, and attended Wagner College in Staten Island, N.Y.
Scott moved to Massachusetts in 1983 and settled in Wakefield in 1984. He was a member of St. Joseph Church and was the General Sales manager at Colonial Nissan of Medford. Scott was a selfless man who loved to watch his kids athletic events.
He was the loving father of Matthew S. Mulcahy and Nicholas J. Mulcahy, both of Wakefield. He was the beloved son of Cornelius and Jean (Schott) Mulcahy of Englewood, N.J. Scott was the loving brother of Pat Demello of Syracuse, N.Y., Neil Mulcahy and wife Helen of Toms River, N.J., Keith Mulcahy and wife Molly of Stony Point, N.Y. and Erinmarie Forte and husband Francis of New Milford, N.J. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews, his former wife Nancy (Coogan) Mulcahy of North Reading and his girlfriend Sally Maijenski and her son Michael of Danvers.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday, March 23 from 4-8 p.m. A second visitation will take place at the T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 Central Hwy., Garnerville, N.Y. on Monday, March 28 from 4-8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory Barbarigo Church, Garnerville, N.Y. on Tuesday, March 29 at 10 a.m.
