BOSTON — State Senator Jason Lewis will be holding a virtual Town Hall meeting to provide an opportunity for his constituents to learn more about the five statewide ballot initiatives on the November 2024 ballot.
The Town Hall will be held on Tuesday, October 29 from 7 to 8 p.m. The event will be live-streamed on the Senator’s YouTube channel bit.ly/2024BallotQuestions and a recording will also be available after the event. Senator Lewis will provide a brief description of each ballot initiative and answer questions about each one from audience members.
The five statewide ballot initiatives deal with ability of the state auditor to audit the state legislature; elimination of the MCAS high school graduation requirement; unionization for rideshare drivers; legalization of certain psychedelic drugs; and minimum wage for tipped workers.
Senator Lewis was appointed earlier this year by Senate President Karen Spilka to serve on a special legislative committee that reviewed the ballot initiatives.
