WAKEFIELD — The Retail Lending Department at The Savings Bank has been recognized by Banker & Tradesman as the No. 1 Mortgage Lender for 2013 in Wakefield. The well-respected banking publication indicated this recognition was based on the number of loans closed on one- to four-family owner-occupied homes, as well as home equity and commercial real estate loans. TSB was also the No. 1 lender in Wakefield for 2012. According to Banker & Tradesman data, The Savings Bank ranked at the top of more than 200 lenders who serviced the Wakefield area in 2013.
