CONCORD, N.H. — Theresa E. Costello, 85, of Concord, N.H., and formerly of Wakefield, died on Sunday, Nov. 27, at the Birches in Concord, N.H.
Born in East Boston on Dec. 3, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Mary (Garrity) O’Leary.
Mrs. Costello was a graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1947. She was a retired quality control loan officer for Eastern Bank in Lynn. Mrs. Costello was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Wakefield.
Mrs. Costello was the wife of the late John J. Costello. She is survived by her two sons: James F. Costello and his wife Kathleen of Tewksbury and Paul M. Costello and his wife Sharon of Denmark, Maine; her brother Robert O’Leary of Twin Mountain; her two sisters Rita Biagioni of Littleton and Margaret Walden of Bedford, N.H. and her daughter-in-law Janeen Costello of Wakefield. Mrs. Costello is also survived by her six grandchildren: Justin Costello, Andrew Costello, Katelyn Sheehan, Dana Costello, Lisa Costello and Meghan Costello, and her five great-grandchildren: Scotty, Tyler, Nolan and Casey Costello and Clara Sheehan. She is predeceased by her son John R. Costello, her daughter Paula Costello, her brother Thomas O’Leary and her sister Mary Roach.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
