State finals will be held Sunday in Dudley

ANDOVER — On Saturday, Oct. 3, four Wakefield boys competed in the Knights of Columbus North Regional Soccer Challenge at the Greater Lawrence Technical School in Andover.
This competition was for K of C Districts 22-35 and 54 and three Wakefield boys won and the other finished in second place.
Winning were: Age 11- William Townshend; Age 12 – Logan Cosgrove; and Age 13 – Liam Cosgrove. Finishing in second place was Age 10 – Yehya Zeineddine.
The winners will now compete in the K of C State Finals on Nov. 15 at Nichols College, 120 Center Rd. in Dudley. The contest will be on Vendetti Field. Registration starts at 9 a.m. with the competition starting at 10 a.m.
