Wakefield resident for over 50 years and worked in the WPS cafeteria department
WAKEFIELD — Ellen Anne Patterson, 76, of Wakefield died on Monday, September 12 at her residence.
Born in Lynn on June 25, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Anne (Hendry) Kaese.
Mrs. Patterson was raised in Swampscott and was a graduate of Swampscott High School, Class of 1964. She had been a Wakefield resident for over 50 years and had retired from the Wakefield Public Schools in the cafeteria department. Mrs. Patterson spent her summers in Windham, New Hampshire on Cobbetts Pond.
Mrs. Patterson is survived by her husband David W. Patterson, her son Dana E. Patterson and her two grandchildren: Gavin and Shannon Abbott. She was predeceased by her daughter Deborah A. Abbott and her brother William Kaese.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Friday, September 16 from 4 -7 p.m. Funeral services will be private.
