WAKEFIELD — Tryouts for the fall sports season at Wakefield High are just 23 days away as the season will officially start the week of Aug. 19.
Registration for fall sports is still open. Student-athletes can register with FamilyID online. To register, visit the Wakefield High athletics website:
wakefieldpublicschools.org/memorial-high-school/athletics. Click on the Registration and Payment tab to register.
Wakefield High offers nine sports in the fall: football, girls’ soccer, boys’ soccer, girls’ volleyball, field hockey, girls’ cross country, boys’ cross country, girls’ swim and golf.
Practices and scrimmages will continue for the final two weeks of August. The regular season will start after Labor Day, Sept. 2.
