READING — Anna T. Tibbetts (Doyle), 90, of Reading, formerly of Stoneham and Lynn died on Friday, October 6, 2019 at the Massachusetts General Hospital.
Anna was born in Stoneham on July 24, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Charles T. and Agnes (Power) Doyle.
Anna was a graduate of St. Patrick High School, Class of 1946. She was a longtime Lynn resident and formerly of Stoneham. She retired from the Lynn Public Schools as a stenographer for the administration building. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading and doing puzzles.
Anna was the beloved wife of the late Eugene R. Tibbetts. She was the loving mother of Dennis E. Tibbetts and his wife Donna of Wakefield, Lorraine B. Nelson of Lynn, Kevin Tibbetts and his wife Leslie of Lynn, David Tibbetts and his wife Karen of Saugus, and the late Maureen Tibbetts. She was the sister of the late Charlie Doyle, Helen Panosian, Alice O’Brien, and Frances D’Entremont. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Her funeral services will be held in the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Thursday at 11 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends in the funeral home prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.
