THE Wakefield Soccer Association’s Wakefield United Girls' U13 team played another season in Maple (Massachusetts Premier League). Having moved up a division from last season, the team has just finished a very competitive season, which has tested it in all areas of the game. With true “Warrior Spirit” the ladies have risen to the occasion and demonstrated that they too have the ability and desire to compete at the club level. Wakefield finished the spring 2015 season with a very impressive record of 6-1, won its division and earned entry into the end of season GU13 Tournament where the team competed at the Mass. Youth Soccer facility in Lancaster. In the front row (from left to right) are Bridget Noell, Winnie Mylan, Retta Carroll, Paige Dube, Lillian Jones, Abby Mondello and Nicole Calandra. In the back row (from left to right) are Samantha Nett, Amalia Rizos, Kathryn Kerrigan, Emma Lambiaso, Lily Rhuda, Julia Castellano, Olivia Lucey, Sarah Melanson and Coach David Dube. Missing from the photo is Natalie Hopkins.
