What do you want in the next Supt. of Schools?

The Melrose School Committee is engaged in one of the community’s most important tasks: conducting a search for the next Superintendent of Schools, who will begin serving on July 1 of this year. With almost 4000 students in the small city, your voice is critical to helping the School Committee find the right leader for this time in our history to support their learning and growth. The first step is to hear from you by way of this survey being conducted by our consultant, the Massachusetts Association of School Committees (MASC), to help us evaluate the skills, abilities, and experiences that are important to you in our next leader, along with understanding the issues you feel are most important. The survey is completely anonymous and will only take a few minutes of your time, so please complete it as soon as you can; the deadline is Friday, January 20. Thank you!
