WAKEFIELD — The weather is supposed to be fantastic tomorrow as Wakefield Memorial High School holds graduation exercises for the Class of 2016 in the Charbonneau Field House.
Administrators this week finalized the list of 251 graduates, and from Thomas Charles Alden to Briana Rose Zwicker, they are ready to celebrate their awesome accomplishment.
The Class of 2016 will be led into the field house by Class Marshal Eric Smith around 10:30 a.m. Class Treasurer Madelyn Fleming will serve as master of ceremonies.
The National Anthem will be performed the Wakefield Memorial High Chamber Singers under the direction of Ana Morel.
Class President Shannon Fairweather will welcome everyone to the ceremony. After that, various school administrators will briefly address the audience.
The Class Essay will be delivered by Nathan Prosperi.
Akash Altman is this year’s salutatorian.
Jessica Dubuque will give the 2016 Valedictory Address.
All graduating seniors are to report to the high school cafeteria tomorrow at 9:30 a.m.
Seating is unreserved and all are welcome. The field house will open at 9:45 a.m. Seats may not be saved.
Family members DO NOT need a ticket to attend graduation — all are welcome.
As parking will be at a premium, a shuttle bus will be available from 9:30 to 10:20 a.m. from the parking lot of Northeast Regional Metropolitan Vocational Technical School on Hemlock Road.
