TEWKSBURY — Jeanne M. Lally, 80, of Tewksbury and a former longtime resident of Wakefield, died in Woburn on June 4.
She was born Everett on August 8, 1936 and was the daughter of the late William H. and Caroline K. (O’Hara) Mayne. Jeanne was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of St. Mary High School of Melrose, Class of 1954, and later from the Malden Business School.
She was retired from Macy’s Department Store of Peabody and had been a member of the Greenwood Junior Women’s Club.
Jeanne was the beloved wife of J. Kevin Lally. She was the loving mother of Linda Doherty of Frisco, TX, Ann Marie Berry and her husband Richard of Chelmsford and the late John Lally. She was the sister of Daniel Mayne of NV and the late William Mayne. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Melissa Doherty and Ryan J. and Lauren N. Berry.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10.
Interment will take place at Forest Glade Cemetery.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
