Multiple strong events at league meet for girls’ track team

NEWBURYPORT — Last Saturday, the Lynnfield High girls’ track and field team participated in the Cape Ann League Meet at Newburyport High.

In this meet, only the top six finishers in each event receive points. The Pioneers finished with seven points.

LYNNFIELD — It was a successful Senior Night for the Lynnfield High boys’ lacrosse team on Monday as they defeated Winthrop, 16-5, in a non-league game. With the victory, the Pioneers ended up at 10-8 in the regular season.
