WAKEFIELD — A Celebration of Life service for Robert A. Kiley Sr. (retired USAF Lieutenant Colonel) will be held at the First Baptist Church, 8 Lafayette St., Wakefield, on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 10 a.m.
Mr. Kiley passed into eternity on Sept. 25.
A man who always had Wakefield in his heart, Mr. Kiley believed deeply in the following: “The light of God shines upon us; the love of God enfolds us and the power of God protects us. Where we are, God is there. Divine order is in control.”
Mr. Kiley’s remains are in the care of the state medical examiner at this time.
All who loved Bob are invited to bring a balloon and a single red rose with them because after the service they will meet at the head of Lake Quannapowitt for a balloon release. There will then be a second informal gathering at the terraced walkway at the entrance of Purital Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody, where roses may be placed in Bob’s memory.
Condolences may be sent to 12 College Pond Rd., Plymouth MA 02360.
