WAKEFIELD — Charles W. “Chuck” Young, 65, of Wakefield died on Sunday, Nov. 9, at his residence.
Born in New Brunswick, N.J. on Sept. 29, 1949, he was the son of the late Cornelius P. and Elsie (Amerman) Young.
Chuck was a graduate of New Brunswick High School, Class of 1967, of Northeastern University and earned his master’s degree from Harvard School of Public Health. He was employed as a civil engineer. Mr. Young was a member of the Registered Professional Engineer’s in Mass., N.H. and Maine.
He had been a Wakefield resident since 1980.
Chuck is survived by his wife Kathleen (Tricca) Young; his two sons Zachary Young and Nicholas Young, both of Wakefield and his brother Paul Young and his wife Suzanne of Manchester, N.H. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be private.
