MELROSE — The Melrose Chamber of Commerce and the City of Melrose announce the Fourth Annual Summer Stroll: An Adult Evening on Main Street Friday, July 29.

With generous support from TD Bank and the Melrose Messina Fund for the Arts, Main Street will be closed to vehicles and transformed into a two block walk way, spanning from Upham Street to Grove Street. You are invited to come down and take some time to stroll and discover what makes Main Street in Melrose so special. Patronize your favorite restaurants and retailers, while visiting ones that are new to you!

From 6 to 9 p.m., there will be live musical performances by area musicians and a local illusionist who will entertain along Main Street. Restaurants will serve food and beverages on the sidewalk, while local merchants will offer tastings, demos, specials and sales within their stores.

In addition, the Melrose Family YMCA will offer babysitting services that night, and registration is required so please call the YMCA at 781-665-4360. Additional children’s programming will also be offered at Joy Yoga in Melrose. Please visit https://www.joyhealthylife.com/joy-healthy-kids.html to reserve your child’s spot.

This is a rain or shine event.

For more information about this event, please contact Lauren Grymek, executive director, Melrose Chamber of Commerce at lauren@melrosechamber.org or 781-665-3033.
