WAKEFIELD — Josephine J. Zanotti, 92, a lifelong resident of Wakefield died Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. Born in Wakefield, she was the daughter of the late Corrado and Anita (Accolla) Mauceri.
Josephine was a graduate of Wakefield High School, class of 1942. She was also a member of St. Florence Church and a
member of the St. Florence Ladies
Sodality.
Josephine was the beloved wife of Leo J. Zanotti for 69 years. She was the loving mother of Christine M. Ringenwald, and Paul L. Zanotti and wife Debi all of Wakefield, Janice L. Clarke of Stoneham and Leah Z. Fitzgerald of Los Angeles. Sister-in-law of Norma and Louis Nunziato of Reading and Josephine Mauceri of Tyngsborough. She was the sister of the late Antonia Carobene, Ann Guglietta, Frances White, Pauline Boccello and Salvatore Mauceri. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield at 11 o’clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be held at Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
