MELROSE — Mary L. Dombeck, 85, of Melrose died Sunday, Aug. 23.
Mary was born in Stoneham on May 17, 1930 and was the beloved daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Magruder) MacIntosh. She was raised in Stoneham and Lawrence and had been a Melrose resident for the past 44 years.
She had worked for the former Transitron Electronics Corporation of Melrose, Winn McCord Company of Woburn, Jordan Marsh Department Stores and the Malden Public Schools.
Mary was the beloved wife of John P. Dombeck. She was the loving mother of Deborah J. Tompkins and her husband Leo of Bolton, Linda D. Galvin and her husband Peter of East Brookfield, Carol A. Dombeck and Karen Neale and her husband Dennis, all of Melrose. She is also survived by her three loving grandchildren, Lee, Dave and Christopher and her four great-grandchildren, John, Faith, Leah and Logan.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield, on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. Private interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery.
