AS A WAY TO honor the Melrose High Class of 2022, outdoor spaces around the city were lit up during a Sunday, April 3 fundraising event for the Melrose High School Permanent Scholarship Fund. A single luminary kit contained enough material to assemble 10 paper lanterns. An organizer, Ann Guanci, said the “lighting up of Melrose represents how the community feels about their graduates: confident that they have bright futures ahead of them.” Yes they do.
