It’s almost here! Come out to support the North Reading Music Boosters and have a swinging good time at their Big Band/Swing Band dinner-dance.

This major fund-raiser of the year for the Music Boosters will be held on Saturday, February 10 at Angelica’s, 49 S. Main Street, Rt. 114, Middleton, from 7 – 11 p.m. in their newly renovated grand ballroom.

Live entertainment provided by “The Mood Swings Orchestra,” a 20-piece all-woman swing band. (https://www.themoodswings.org/). This lively group of talented musicians performs all over the greater Boston area and throughout New England. Accompanying the band will be the smooth vocal sounds of Maureen Pilot, who sings with the Mood Swings Orchestra frequently.

Band members will teach a swing dance lesson, but no experience is necessary so just come to relax, dance if the mood strikes, or just sit back and enjoy the band.

The North Reading Music Boosters is a 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to support all band, choral and a cappella groups at the town’s five schools.

The event features an all-you-can-eat gourmet buffet, including coffee, tea, dessert and a cash bar, silent auction and great, free giveaway prizes.

Tickets, for $50 p.p., can be purchased online at Eventbrite.com by searching “The Mood Swings Orchestra” or by mailing a check made out to “NR Music Boosters,” P.O. Box 342, North Reading, MA 01864.

Tables can be reserved for groups of 8 to 10. Call 978-664-6545 with any questions.
