WAKEFIELD — Roberta (”Robin,” “Bobby”) O’Neil, 68, passed away on August 27, 2019 after a long and courageous fight against breast cancer.
She was born in Boston in 1951. In 1954 her family moved to Wakefield where she and her five sisters attended the Wakefield school system. Roberta graduated from Wakefield High in 1969 and furthered her education by attending business school. She worked for Honeywell for many years before eventually moving on to work for BAE Systems until her retirement in 2018. Robin’s friends and co-workers she met over the years meant a lot to her and she spoke of them often.

Roberta is survived by her four sisters; Marilyn O’Neil of Hallowell, Maine, Loretta Sturk of Cary, N.C., Julie St.Pierre of Boscawen, N.H., and Cheryl O’Neil of Shapleigh, Maine; as well as nine nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews whom she cherished. Robin’s personality and sense of humor were one of a kind and she will be very dearly missed by her family.
