WAKEFIELD — Ronald F. Mauriello, 84, of Wakefield, formerly of Malden, died May, 18, 2020.

Ronald was born on February 1, 1936 and was the son of the late Mario G. and Rose (Colannino) Mauriello.

Ronald was raised in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School, Class of 1953 and was the Captain of the baseball team. He later worked as a mason and was a member of Local 3 and a member of International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers. He volunteered and worked Bingo on Wednesday nights at St. Joseph Church of Malden. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Ronald was the beloved husband of the late Lillian A. Mauriello. He was the loving father of Ronald F. Mauriello and his husband James Dailey of Wakefield, Michael Mauriello and his wife Ana of Merrimack, N.H., Deborah Manfra and her husband Michael of Tewksbury and Edward Mauriello and his wife Michelle of Wakefield. He was the brother of Francis Mauriello and his wife Roberta of Malden, and the late Mario “Red” Mauriello and Flavio Mauriello. He is also survived by his six grandchildren: Amy, Carolyn, Michael, Stephanie, Joseph, and Mathew, and one great-grandchild, Payton.

Funeral services will be private.
