DERRY, N.H. — Scott D. Iosua Sr., 52, of Derry, N.H., died Saturday, Sept. 19, in the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston.
Scott was born in Melrose on May 15, 1963, a son of the late Michael D. and Barbara (Bird) Iosua. Scott was raised and educated in Wakefield and worked here at Taibbi Equipment Corp. for the past 25 years.
He had been a resident of Derry for the past 22 years.
Scott was a loving father, passing along his love of power sports to his beloved children. In addition to being an all-around outdoorsman, Scott was always willing to help anyone at any time.
He is survived by his daughter Ashley Iosua of Hampstead, N.H.; his two sons, Scott D. Iosua Jr. and Nicolis Iosua, both of Derry; four brothers, Michael Iosua of Shapleigh, Maine, Robert Iosua of Wakefield, Kevin Iosua of Goffstown, NH. and Randy Iosua of Naples, Fla.; and one sister, Kim Iosua of Middleton. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and his former wife Joy Iosua of Portsmouth, N.H.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, N.H. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry.
