BOSTON — Thomas W. Chapman of Boston, formerly of Wakefield, died Thursday, Aug. 20, at his home.
Born in Winchester on Dec. 26, 1962, he was the son of Jean (Foley) Chapman of Wakefield and the later Walter T. Chapman.
Thomas was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1981. He was a retired bus driver for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. Thomas enjoyed spending time with his family and being with his cousins. He loved the beach, cooking and dining out. He was always friendly to those he encountered.
In addition to his mother, Thomas is survived by his brother Glen Chapman and his wife Wendi of Lexington; his niece Charlotte Chapman, his aunt and uncle Joan and Edward Deveney of Sandwich; and his cousins Maureen, Edward and Peter.
A memorial service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
