WAKEFIELD — The School Committee is looking for a new secretary.
Longtime secretary Susan Majeski retired in June and the school board is seeking her replacement.
Following is the job listing:
Function: To act as the Secretary to the School Committee for meetings, develop meeting agendas in consultation with Superintendent and School Committee Chair; prepare reports for the meetings, take minutes at all School Committee and sub-committee meetings, and assist the Committee in all administrative aspects of their duties.
• The School Committee typically meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at 7:30 p.m.
• Executive Sessions are called as needed and tend to occur on the same night as School Committee public meetings.
• There are generally two to three subcommittee meetings per month, with days and hours varied as driven by member schedules and the needs of the full Committee.
