PHOTO: New K9 team visits the Senior Center

K9 ACE and his handler, Lynnfield police officer Ray Barnes, recently visited the Senior Center to introduce the new policing team to local senior citizens. An inquisitive 2-year-old Belgium Malinois, he was bred specifically to excel at police work. Ace joined the force in August after graduating from K9 training school with Barnes. Ace's certified patrol skills include tracking, evidence recovery, apprehension, handler protection, agility and building searches. He will eventually be certified to locate narcotics.        (Courtesy Photo)

Flu Clinic Oct. 27 at Town Hall

LYNNFIELD — The Lynnfield Board of Health has held two successful flu clinics to date and has scheduled four additional Monday night clinics at Lynnfield Town Hall, 55 Summer St. in October, November and December.
