LYNNFIELD — Last season, the Lynnfield High boys soccer team lost in the opening round of the Division 3 North state tournament, 4-1, to Melrose. With that disappointing defeat, the Pioneers ended the year at 8-8-3.

LYNNFIELD — The undefeated Lynnfield High field hockey team rolled over visiting Rockport, 5-0, at Pioneer Stadium last Thursday afternoon for its second home win in two days.
