ROSLINDALE — Gaetano Galli, 89, of Roslindale died Thursday, April 28, at the Salem Hospital.
Born in Messina, Italy on Aug. 10, 1926, he was the son of the late Biagio and Angelina Galli.
Mr. Galli was raised in Italy before moving to the United States in 1967. He had worked as a mason and attended night school to learn English. He later worked for Instrumentation Labs of Watertown from which he retired.
He was the husband of the late Giuseppa (Grillo) and Frances (DeLuca). He was the father of Joseph Galli of Roslindale. He was the grandfather of Joseph G., Christopher M. and Nicole J. Galli. He is also survived by his sister Pepina of Italy. He was predeceased by two sisters in Italy.
Funeral services will be private. Arrangements
are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
