LedouxWalshobit-webWAKEFIELD — Kelly Ledoux-Walsh died unexpectedly on Monday, July 24, at her home. She was just 21 years old.

Born in Melrose on June 19, 1996, she was the beloved daughter of Sean M. Walsh and Kathy H. Ledoux-Walsh.

Kelly was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield Memorial High School, Class of 2014, where she was a member of the cross country and indoor and outdoor track teams. Kelly was a four-year letter winner and was captain of the three Warrior teams as a senior.

She was awarded MVP as a freshman, sophomore and senior and was a four-time League All-Star.

Kelly was a student at Merrimack College and was a member of their cross country and track and field teams.

She was pursuing a degree in Business Administration and would have graduated this spring.

Kelly was sweetness and light; she was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. She loved having her friends at her home; hosting parties after most of the high school dances and holidays. Above all, she loved her family and spent as much time with them as she could.

In addition to her parents, Kelly is survived by her loving sister Mikayla Ledoux-Walsh of Wakefield; her adoring grandparents Francis and Kathleen (Mahoney) Walsh, and Winifred (Abbott) Ledoux, all of Wakefield; her uncles Barry Walsh and his wife Brandi, and Kevin Walsh, all of Wakefield, and Michael Ledoux of NY. She is also survived by her boyfriend Tim Keohane of Franklin, as well as many cousins, dear friends, and extended family. She was predeceased by her grandfather Michael Ledoux.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield on Monday at 10:30 a.m.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Sunday from 12-4.

Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
