NORTH READING — The town of North Reading is providing this reminder to the public of the town’s curbside trash and recycling guidelines:
• Trash and recycling must be placed curbside by 6:30 a.m.
• Trash is limited to two 35-gallon barrels per household.
• Recycling is “dual-stream.” This means paper and plastic must be separated when placed curbside.
• Paper recycling may be placed in paper bags. Plastic bags, for either paper or plastic recycling, are prohibited. Recycled items placed inside plastic bags will be rejected.
• Information regarding special collections for spring cleanup, metals, leaves, and Christmas trees, as well as other solid waste information, may be found at www.northreadingma.gov/recycling-and-solid-waste-division.
