Graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1974
NORTH READING — Thomas F. Hitron, 57, of North Reading formerly of Wakefield died Monday, Sept. 22.
Born in Boston on Dec. 1, 1956 he was the son of the late Feliks and Sophie (Szatawski) Hitron.
Tom was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1974, Berklee School of Music and Newbury College Culinary School. He had retired from Cambridge Electric Light and was a former executive chef at the Wyndham in Chelsea, The Blue Room, Metropolis Café and, most recently, at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
Tom was the beloved husband of Rhonda (Tuck) Hitron and the loving father of Cassandra L. Hitron of Great Barrington. He was the brother of John W. Hitron of Carrabelle, Fla. and Phyllis Senier and her husband John of Reading.
A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
