Going Gold

ON Monday, Sept. 28, the Wakefield Memorial High School girls' volleyball program will be raising funds to support Childhood Cancer Research. The varsity, JV and freshman teams will Go Gold and compete against Burlington High School at the Charbonneau Field House. The JV and freshman play at 4 p.m. followed by varsity at 5:30 p.m. In addition to watching some exciting volleyball you can come for refreshments, a bake table and exciting raffles including gifts donated by local restaurants, hair salons, businesses and two Bruins tickets. This is a wonderful community event to help raise funds for cancer research and create awareness about the need for research and funding. One hundred percent of the proceeds from ticket sales, bake table and raffles will benefit pediatric cancer. Please invite your family, friends and neighbors. Go Warriors!
